The 2025 Aviation Health Conference took place on September 23 and 24. Over two inspiring days at the Royal College of Physicians in London, leading aviation health experts from around the globe gathered to exchange insights, innovations, and ideas.

Featuring cutting-edge sessions, a vibrant exhibition, and a lively networking reception, the event celebrated advancements in passenger and crew wellbeing.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our distinguished speakers: Dr Sprott, Dr Hosegood, Dr Armstrong, Dr Dingwerth, Dr Velaydhan, Dr Ramusat, Dr Pooran, Dr Marhoon, Dr Dragic, Dr Alves, Dr Ali, Dr Sierens, Dr Sieberichs, Dr Kamarulzaman, Dr Gobac, Professor Pleus, Dr Tinoco, Dr Narayan, Dr Flatt, Professor Turner, Dr Dowdall, Dr Cairns, Dr Doyle, Mr Cunha-Rêgo, Dr Sodhi, Dr Restolho, Dr Vyas, Dr Snider-Adler, Dr Blue, Dr Saraiva, and Dr Ketola.

This event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors (MD Onboard, OdiliaClark, MedAire, fit2fly) and our exhibitors (Medic One Systems, Parsys Telemedicine, CardioSecur, Callington/PSA, Globalog, Aeromedic). Heartfelt thanks to each of our sponsors and exhibitors. We are also deeply grateful to our attendees for contributing to the event’s success.

Special appreciation goes to Quaynote Communications for their outstanding support and organization and most importantly to Dr Rui Pombal, IATA Medical Advisor, for organising the event’s scientific programme.

I’m eager for next year’s event in Istanbul and excited about the opportunity to collaborate with my peers and contribute to our collective progress in aviation medicine.
