Dear Members and Colleagues,
It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I step into the role of President of the International Airline Medical Association. I extend my warmest greetings to each of you and heartfelt appreciation for the trust placed in me to serve this distinguished community.
As professionals committed to the health, safety, and performance of those who take to the skies, we occupy a unique and vital space in the world of medicine. Our work transcends borders and disciplines, uniting us with a shared mission: to advance excellence in aerospace and airline medicine.
In the year ahead, I look forward to building on the strong foundation laid by my predecessors. Together, we will deepen collaboration, champion innovation, and support the next generation of aviation medical professionals. I welcome your insights, your passion, and your partnership as we chart our course forward.
I also warmly invite you to join us for our 79th Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel in Denver, Colorado. This event, chaired by Dr. Justin Flatt and the Educational Program Committee, will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, share knowledge, and shape the future of our field—together, in person. Registration and agenda details will be shared at a later date, so please stay tuned.
In addition, I am pleased to announce our upcoming Aviation Health Conference on Tuesday September 23 and Wednesday September 24, 2025 in partnership with the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This collaborative event will bring together leading experts from around the globe to present the latest advancements and challenges in aviation medicine. The conference promises to be a platform for innovative discussions, knowledge sharing, and fostering connections within our community. Details and registration can be found at https://quaynote.com/conference/aviation-health-conference-2025/
Thank you for your continued dedication to this incredible field. I am excited for what lies ahead and proud to stand alongside you in service of our shared mission.
